Support your local mom and pop bookshops! This shop has a huge selection of new and gently used books. This place is amazing, as is the owner Chris. Need a book? Neat, this place has your back. Need a specific book the shop doesn’t have? Chris will order it for you. Want some sweets while you browse or read? Chocolates and refreshments are available. Need some peace and quiet? This is the place to be. Has nice plush chairs that are hard not to take a nap in. Want some cool hiking spot recommendations? Chris can give that to you. There are other book stores and then there is Book Tree. Even if I’m not in the current market for a new book, still a great place to just hang out. This is the most welcoming and cozy bookstore around.

What a cool bookstore! Great selection and we were there for a workshop and poetry reading, which was a lot of fun. Definitely will be back.

Such an amazing store! If the owner doesn’t have a book you want on hand, he will order it for you. I love stopping in and turning some pages!

Cute place. Has wonderful selection. You can always find a nice gift for a friend or yourself here. I can spend hours just relaxing if I had the time.

A very eclectic collection of well chosen books. Inviting space with a cozy children's reading area. Highly recommend, especially if you remember the neighborhood bookstore where you were always welcome.

Very cute independent bookstore, with an extremely knowledgeable and well-read owner. Every book I mentioned, he had read or knew about! That’s impressive! (Granted, I’m more “main stream” in my book selections, but still). There are some new releases available, with a large selection of gentle used in every genre imaginable. Shelves are not super well organized, but I think it adds to the charm and feels more like a treasure hunt. If you can’t find the title you are looking for, it can easily be ordered for you. Book Tree will be a place I visit often.

Such a warm, cozy and lovely bookstore with a really sweet and inviting owner! Great variety of brand new and gently used books, featuring new releases, classics and a wide range of genres! Was so glad to find just the book I was looking for (The Kite Runner) at such a steal, and I really loved the warm cozy ambience of this place, with 2 huge armchairs right at the entrance perfect for reading ☺️ Travelled 45 minutes to Kirkland for this bookstore and would definitely recommend! Please do support this local mom and pop store and keep them running and providing great reads for the community for a long time 🥰 Noticed that they also have a book club which meets every second Tuesday of the month at 6.30PM, for anyone looking for community events and discussions ☺️
